Use internal door as a simple porch door?

I want to replace my porch door. The trouble is, when I search online for an external door, I can only find heavy ones that are designed to be used as the main (security) door and pretty pricey! I think this is unecessay as the door will be usually unlocked anyway.

Are there internal doors that can be used and if so how can I tell?

Most internal doors will not cope with even slight damp before they dissolve, delaminate, or warp.

You can get cheap-ish flush external doors eg

or if you don't mind a rustic appearance the traditional edge and brace door from about £50 - and these are quite easy to make yourself.
