Having a right mare with this boiler.

Looking at where the water is leaking it’s right in the corner of the boiler.

The casing has rusted through where this has been going on so long.

what’s leaking?

It could be an internal leak on a component, or the condensate trap/hose. However the front case on your boiler forms part of the room seal for safety. After removing the cover, certain checks need to be performed. Please engage in a gas registered engineer.

Thank you.

If the casing has rusted through as you say then you need a new boiler and the nxisting should be turned off right away

the combustion chamber has been breached if it has rusted through so the boiler is now classed as Immediately dangerous and should be turned off, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but dont shoot the messenger .

Will see what the engineer says on Thursday. If it’s got to be replaced then so be it

Not really one to name call other engineers/installers, but that looks rough.
