I am toying with the idea of having my dumb stat replaced with a vr92 for upstairs so that I can control it via the app.
I have a vr66/2 which was bought a while ago as I was close to pulling the trigger on going
Unvented.
I also have UFH controlled by same dumb heatmiser stat.
I’m wondering can I replace upstairs stat with a vr 92 and the vr66 would control the valve ? Would this become zone 2 heating ?
And later could I do similarly with the UFH stat so replace that with a vr92 and this would become zone 3?
Finally I would like to go unvented at some point for the extra performance and use excess solar to heat the tank up I would be unable to use a unistor as I need a horizontal tank again in prep I bought a vr10 to use on the cylinder for the NTC.
Any thoughts suggestions greatly appreciated
