Personally I would avoid the exclusive like the plague.
Replacing the microtimer with a programmable thermostat will be easy. If you use a wireless version it will be even easier as you will not have to run a cable from the boiler to the thermostat location, usually in the hall or living room.There is a myson microtimer digital time clock located the side of the boiler and the only temperature control we have is built into the boiler.

Yes had a quick look on ebay and saw the 927 one. Regarding getting someone in to fit it, i think i might.? I am competent when it comes to basice house electrics. How hard are they fit.? But if you are fitting them on regular basis, you will find it easy. What would i be looking at cost wise for one fitting.?
