Thanks for the reply - just what we've done. Managed to stop the flow of water from the leak by closing the water isolation valve, now just have to wait for the Bank Holiday to end before the professional can call. No hot water until then!
Hi,

I have a Vaillant ecoTEC plus 937 boiler, which has a shift load storage tank to provide immediate hot water before the combi kicks in. The boiler has developed a leak, which appears to be coming from the area of the shift load storage tank area.

My question is, is there a means to isolate the shift load storage tank, so that I could drain it, but then also use the boiler as a pure combi boiler for hot water until I can get the leak fixed.

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Hi,
I have the same boiler and the same issue.
Which isolation valve do I need to turn off?
Also what was the issue when you fixed it?
Many thanks

Presumably the cold water inlet isolation valve!

But you are not meant to add on to an existing old thread.

You are meant to start your own new one and properly describe your installation.
