Seeing as Securespark is trying to out do photo of the week, here is a new feature!

This month we have a video of an intermittent RCD fault I was called to.

I was the second bod from our firm to look for this fault, and it had been ongiong for a good few weeks.

The rcd would trip every week or so, with no regularity at all.

The fault was traced to a loose connection in the DNO cutout!

If it was a loose connection in the cutout, how come you made it trip by wobbling the cables in the meter???

I dread to think what videos you're going to come up with now.

I have one of me with a pair of strippers.........

Then the wife made pick all the discarded PVC from the floor.

Strippers are far better than side cutters........

The cable I wobbled links the cutout to the meter
