I had a item forwarded to me, it said things like drink a bit regular which has been since said does not help keep 10 foot away, sunbath, and at 80°F virus is killed, well I seem to remember body temperature is 98.4°F so in that case no one could catch it!

UV from sun may kill the virus and like legionnaires water over 60°C may kill it, 60°C = 140°F not 80°F.

If UV rays and heat kills coronavirus then in Australia there should be no problem, as it is their summer.

The internet is full of wrong information, one would hope the Government knows what is required and will give us correct information, of course those treating the virus will catch it, but if the government has got it right then non of the politicians should catch it, if they do, then clearly the Government guide lines are wrong, in which case who can we trust WHO.

It will remain viable for a shorter period outside eg car door handles once the sun's uv gets stronger.
Won't work for indoors, obviously.

somone in a hot climate is likley to get off an aircon plane into an aircon terminal into an aircon taxi into an aircon home spending perhaps 5 mins outside total throught the journey with 5 or 6 chances to spread infection

Your hypothesis makes no sense...Either someone contracts the virus,,,then gets on a plane,spreading it,,in which case air temp is irrelevant,,the virus is in the body....Your idea makes it sound like someone walks around and takes the same bubble of air with them as they walk and jump on and off aircraft

Thats true, I guess most close contacts that people have are indoors.

Although its true that flu is more prevalent in winter.

i dont know how it spread so worth thinking off everything and eliminating them as you go as best you can
this will take years to fully get to the bottom off but hit and miss ideas will be tried as they go with some working better than others often with different solutions working better in some areas over others with local customs habits and conditions dictating what work best

If the Prime Minister who is telling everyone else what to do can catch it, clearly we can't trust his measures, it seems no one really knows, and this is the real problem, and in the mean time shop keepers, and tradesmen are being put at risk with no medical training of how to avoid the risks, doctors and nurses are clearly at risk, but they have training so can reduce the risk.

Be it a policeman or fireman these people are not trained to same extent to medical personal, and the supermarkets may say they are fitting barriers for the till operators, but reports are saying they are still waiting for the work to be done in many supermarkets so the poor shop assistant is really on the front line.

It would be easy to close the shop to restock shelves so only the till operator is exposed, but at least where my son-in-law works that has not happened. The new plastic money is also a problem, it sticks together with static, so easy way to separate is to wet fingers, we have learnt this, and adapted, so today it is standard practice to lick your fingers, with old paper money is was OK, just this new plastic stuff.
