vokera compact 24 se no pressure

Dont touch any of the valves under the boiler. The yellow valve under the boiler is the gas inlet, you shouldn't be touching that at all.

What are you calling the stop cock? Have you isolated att cold water supply to the house or are you taking about the black valve under the boiler?

Boiler can be on, but will probably still show you a red light at the moment.

We Have an adjustable stopcock on the far right pipe under the boiler?

How long should I leave the blue pipe "on" without a chane in pressure showing?

Leave it "open" until the pressure gauge says 1.5 bar.

This should not take long at all, so check the gauge and use common sense for closing the blue valve if nothing is happening.

That needs to be open, otherwise what water will be filling the system!

Maybe you have a substantial leak on your radiator pipework?
Getting someone in is your best bet if you cannot re-pressurise, but tell him exactly what you have done, to all the valves and the boiler.

Well, just to fill in the blanks for you: -

On a sealed combi central heating system, the water / system should be under pressure. Thats your flow and return pipework.

When the pipework looses pressure, it needs topping up with more water to increase the volume of water in that space, thereby increasing the pressure.

To do this, we have a filling loop attached from the cold water supply pipework to either the flow or return pipework. This generally has two 1/4 turn valves and one double check valve on either end of a flexi hose to connect the two pipes together.

The water is transfered from the cold water supply to the flow or return pipework and kept under pressure via the valve and the double check valve.

I gave you a link to your boiler's manual earlier so it should be fairly well explained in there too.

Hope you fix your issue.
