Scary that they have been developed or scary that people enjoy using them ? (or both)

Out of interest, have you ever discharged any type of firearm?

We are a very strange monkey indeed. Lauding over a machine that has been designed and built with one purpose in mind...to destroy other tribes
But only if they seek to destroy us.
It's called deterrence.

I was on 617 at RAF Scampton and there was a mascot, a dog, he was buried over by the hangar, I can't say his name for obvious reasons..

The dambusters film is not very PC, I can't say why. I wonder if it is the same animal?
I can't say I found it particularly offensive. Perhaps I'm a little strange.

There's nothing strange - the dog was called '******'.

The fact that his name is now censored out of certain discussions goes to show how misguided people try to change history to suit today's environment.

Not dissimilar to some misguided bureaucrat suggesting that certain street names in Liverpool be changed because they referenced the slave trade. The names involved are part of the history of the city & country - don't change them, explain them.

Change to names of Dunkirk to Sandy Beaches, The Somme to Poppy Fields?

The dogs name was N igger. (Ni gg er), Nig ger), Nigg er). (surely one of them must get printed, lol)
Pure and simple and no-one has ever taken offence by it.
A number of years ago the BBC omitted it from a screening of The Dambusters and there were thousands of complaints. Nexttime they showed the film it had been put back to its original format.

I should think so too. There's far too much of this PC claptrap these days, and when they try to re-write history it's disgusting.

I think it is now clear that you are a good old fashioned racist, and you won't fit in with the enlightened liberal atmosphere that is this forum. (Irony alert, just in case someone can't spot the bleedin' obvious.)
