Want to work in france ? No chance !

why shouldnt they?
maybe we should take a leaf out of their book, i like that attitude, they way they are in australia too, they dont do signs in a foreign language, cause if you need to know something in their country learn their language

Who said they were wrong !!!!

Just a dig at the damn silly eu eddifice !

i didnt mean to imply you disagreed with them, but i was just agreeing that they are right to do what they want, i wish Britain would grow a pair and support what the majority of British people seem to want, im not impressed that my boys primary school dont have a Christmas celebration as it might upset other kids

Do your kids learn about other religions Kirk?
In my grand daughters school they 'celebrate' all kinds of different festivals. Which I think is better than excluding them all.

yes they do learn about other religions which i think is great, it enlightens them to other peoples beliefs and should make them more tolerant of others having different opinions, lifestyles and views, but i totally disagree with changing Christian things to general things so we dont upset the in comers, its our country and our primary religion so we should celebrate it without feeling we need to change for them, if kids are of another religion we accomodate their beliefs (which i agree with) but it just seems to be Christianity which cant be fully celebrated, if a muslim celebration was altered to accomodate us there would be an outcry and the council would back down

but I totally disagree with changing Christian things to general things so we don't upset the in comers

Religion shouldn't have any place in school other than in humanities classes, unless it is a specific faith school (non state funded)

Got nothing to do with new comers, it's just the modern world.
