went to job and customer said there was a loud bang in cupboard followed by gushing noise and the power went off as well. after isolating every thing found main water feed lying on top of ring main cable morale:- watch them cables and pipes!! :shock: :shock: :shock:
 
It could have been the sparky as that earth cable looks pretty fresh compared to the pipe.

What exactly happened? Was the water pipe rubbing on the cable, then frayed it and shorted to the pipe, taking a chunk out of the pipe?
