I had a bit if disaster with my hot water heater. For some reason, it has no lid.

My flat mate left it on for a couple hours and I came home to find my living room dripping from the roof and walls.

There has been no structural damage but there is slight stains on the wall where the water has run down. I thought they would dry up but have left behind a drip stain.

Is there any way to ge tthese off without having to redecorate? The paint is Crown Matt finish.

Thanks

Probably where the dirt's has been washed away. You could try washing the whole wall with sugar soap.

If that doesn't work enough, another coat of emulsion on the (now clean) surface.
