Hi,
I've just fitted a new mixer tap in our kitchen which used to have good pressure to the hot supply (mains fed cold), but since fitting this tap the hot water pressure has become much less. Its plumbed in copper 155 pipe to below the sink then there is a 15mm flexi pipe which fits onto the (I think) 8mm copper pipe that comes with the fitting, I'm guessing that the reason for this is that the reduction in size of the pipe after the flexi is causing the flow to be reduced (the kitchen is the furthest room away from the boiler).
Has anyone got any tips to resolve this, I was thinking of fitting a pump in the loft to boost the flow, but have some issues with how that would be switched from the kitchen.
Thanks in advance,
Kev
