Water Softener for Megaflo

I am installing a water softener as part of house renovation. I have a Megaflo Eco Systemfit Unvented Cylinder.

When researching for the most suitable water softener for a Megaflo system, Megaflo themselves only recommend Pro Series Water Softeners.

BWT models are also highly recommended, and almost half the price.

Looking for advice as to whether the BWT model will suffice, or whether I should stick with Megaflo recommendation and pay the higher cost.

Unless heatrae sadia specifically state fitting a different water softener to their recommended one would invalidate the warranty just go with BTW.
I live / work in a area where the water is described as aggressively hard.
We fit BTW softeners with no issues.
