Weatherproof 32A plug?

Most manufacturers of BS4343/ceeform "Appliance Inlets" manufacturer the inlets in the same current ratings as their standard plugs, sockets etc.

They are commonly used as generator inlets at sewerage pumping stations etc, are are becoming more common on portacabins and portabogs/showers. I have worked on some marine shower blocks with built in generator, with an appliance inlet for the mains rated at 63amp TP.

I was intending to common the generator earth and the suppliers earth. Is this not a good idea?
Don't know - that's what I'd like to find out, as it affects what sort of c/o switch I get...

Yes, bond genny frame earth to suppliers earth and rod down (with N bonded to E as near as practicable to gen)
Hmm - was hoping to link mine at the inlet...

Well the inlet won't be (couldn't be) used for anything except plugging a generator into it...
