Anyone heard of it?
aparently its to do amongst other things the disposla of flourescent tubes and cfl's

as of 1st July you will be charged more for these items in order to pay for disposal

much like the house sellers pack its been arround for ages but its introduction has been repeatedly postponed.

Basically the idea is to push onto manufacturers of electrical goods the costs involved in safely disposing of those goods therefore encouraging manufacturers to make goods that are easier to dispose of correctly.
