We had a minor leak from the water pipe under our toilet cistern a few days ago; it had probably got the floor a bit wet for a few days before we realised it was dripping, then there was a bit of water on the floor the night it got fixed. The "wall" behind the toilet is some kind of painted wooden cabinet effort, and the paint on it has bubbled up to a few inches off the ground. I am assuming its some kind of mdf so didn't take well to even a relatively small amount of water being on the floor for a little while. Is it likely to be ok if we let it dry, sand off the bubbly paint, and repaint? Its not like a skirting board that can easily just be removed and replaced. Thanks.
