What are these weird ugly pipes on wall?

Errrrmmm ... seriously ... have you actually looked at the pictures? No need to scrape the immaculate paint :ROFLMAO:, scrape a bit where the paint's already missing, lots of areas to choose from.
This made me laugh

Thanks all! Think the first one connects to an outside water tap. The double trouble one is connected to a gas cooker so think it’s a gas pipe. Grateful for all your tips!!

When we get work done on the kitchen I hope we can get rid of those hideous double ones. Looks like someone was improvising on the cheap, and not in a good way.

If your able to put an ear on the one you thinks is the outside tap while someone else opens the tap you may be able to hear water rushing through it.

Ideally the pipes would be rerouted under the flooring. The water pipe insulated. But you have laminate flooring. More time consuming unless you are getting rid of the laminate.

Thanks Andy we are having the kitchen redone and replacing the heinous laminate so hoping these can be tucked away nicely ☺️
