 So no real reason, just a dig that failed. See, I do have a sense of humour.
What dig?
Sorry you can't get it. I guess some people out there are just so full of themselves they can never admit any fault.

Oh funny!

You wrote:

"And I enjoy your many posts"

I asked you why "many posts". In comparison to most other contributors, I've actually got few.

You blustered:

"Many, not as in volume but in many as in the amount that you write which are moaning & miserable"

which is a complete non sequitur. You didn't qualify "many posts" in your original statement with any of the stuff you made up to cover it.

I'll ignore the rest of your post.

Whatever your view of Churchill, it's as well to be aware of his despicable traits, actions, decisions, policies, etc, as it is to be aware of his contribution to the west winning WW2.
To highlight one without the other is to ignore history.
When your grandchildren ask you questions about history, or the present day events with its historic context, do you give them the whitewashed, airbrushed version, so they grow up not understanding the events going on around them?
Or do you explain to them history as you are aware of it?
The one way, they'll grow up making up their own minds, and if they learn about the real history, not the whitewashed version that you gave them, they'll judge you as an old prejudiced fuddy-duddy. Or alternatively, they'll turn out as deniers of history.
If you give them the genuine version, they'll grow more enlightened, understanding better the events happening around them. As they learn more about history, they'll maybe be in a better position to ask more enquiring questions, and their appreciation of your balanced view will increase.

Enlightenment breeds enlightenment. Ignorance breeds ignorance.

Razzler.Do not judge a man until you have walked in his shoes...V Apt for W Churchill.
You've judged him and decided he's perfection. You choose to deny the history of Churchill.
How can you hope to understand the feelings of those who despise him, if you deny their version of history occurred?

like a dog with a bone. and so boring.
what makes you think for a minute that everyone should want to understand the feelings of the people who despise churchill . aren’t people allowed to have their thoughts ,views and opinions and f@&k everyone else. he not only wants to take your freedom of speech , he wants to control your thoughts too.
in my experience , todays generation couldn’t give a toss about churchill or any other historical figure. kids today just want to get on with their lives and look forward.
