Some people are so thick, and so credulous, that they have swallowed the lies about Labour politicians and policies, which a number of mass-circulation newspapers have promulgated for generations, hook, line and sinker.
Yes,,,even the Labour Party MPs believe it!

hurchill greatest talent perhaps was his writing and speaches. History has been kind to him by brushing out a great deal of his flaws which those not versed in nuance will miss.
He was great at being a wartime leader..That is all you need to know.

The man held horrendous views. A terrible human being and a war criminal. Hes certainly no hero.
This is the view that dimwits start believing when Sir Gal types distort the good and blow out of all proportion the possible character flaws.

Study,fine,distort.not
OK then - show us what has been distorted.

Not true.

It may be all that YOU WANT to know, as you are one of these people where we would all be better off if you didn't exist because of your antipathy to facts and truth and honesty, but it is not all that you or anybody else NEEDS to know.

Greatest talent writing ??????

Cometh the hour cometh the man......Churchill felt his whole life's course was a preamble pointed towards this one hour this one task defeating Hitler. His greatest talent was emboldening this country to stand alone against Hitler despite all the appeasers.

What have you read that was written by Churchill? He received a Nobel Prize in literature. He was a magnificent writer - something which is lost when we discuss Churchill as most peoples history of him is gleaned from newspaper articles or movies.

As I mentioned before he wasn't a great minister or peace time leader, it's why in 1945 he lost the election by a landslide.

If you hear an intelligent, witty quip and wonder who said it, chances are it was Churchill. He was a smart bastard, that's for sure.

Arthur Scargill destroyed the miners.
Hog,s,,,t
He certainly didn't do them many favours. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Scargill#Assessments

Have to smile though at one of the lines there

"....[he] adopted strategies and tactics that were 'impossibilist', with 'an inflexible list of extravagant non-negotiable demands' that amounted to 'reckless adventurism' that was 'a dangerous, self-defeating delusion'."

Remind you of anyone?

He had a great deal to do with us winning the war.I am not bothered about his dodgy beliefs, who the hell wrote his speeches etc, I am only too glad he was in charge and not a BAS or Sir Gal type who would have been too busy debating and talking crap round Hitler's table whilst the 3rd Reich invaded the UK.
