600A? Are you sure that's the A.C. input current? Not the D.C. output current? Either that or you're welding the Eiffel Tower! I'm guessing here, but I think you may mean the output current and it probably operates at between 50 and 80 volts on the secondry side. If you can get some more accurate information, people may be able to offer you some advice. If you've already got the equipment, it should have a plate on it somewhere with some power information.
