What have you been doing today?

I know, it's very strange! What happened Tuesday?
Nothing, I did a quick search and there’s only a couple of posts since then.

What about Dazzlers ? Sorry I mean TomW

I imagine the mods have rumbled his dual citizenship

And there will be no more, save any where it would be rude of me to not reply to a post/question to me.

I'm off - you've all won - you can all sit here repeating your shared opinions back and forth with each other without fearing that a contrary opinion will show up to disturb your cosy consensus.
Whats going on I thought you agreed mainly with Notch and co??

That’s just shows how up your own arse you are!! I disagree with most.

You just like attention and love trying to stir the pot.

No need to have a hissy fit.

Nothing wrong with disagreeing with anyone. I do it all the time. I always disagree with those that are wrong…

I must be married to a witch!

Mrs Mottie was telling me of a dream she had last night about driving along in the Golf and the key broke in half, falling on the floor and she couldn’t turn it off. An hour later, I was just going out in the Golf, went outside, pressed the button on the fob to flick the key blade out and nothing, it was missing! Luckily I found the blade in the drawer where we leave the keys. New shell ordered £4. Just got to swap the intervals over and hopefully the blade. A roll pin needs removing that holds the blade in place. I should be able to get that out with one of my watch pin removal tools. If I can’t change the blade, I’ll just have to get the new one recut.

That will glue back into it's socket - Gorilla glue works well. I had to use it, when the button covers on my plastic outers failed some months ago. I bought a pair of new cases, and simply swapped the internals, plus blades over to the new cases.

Same as my old golf key. Re case works well and you can use the old key blank. Hardest part was getting the spring located into the holder when you have to wind it up twice to get the correct tension for the blade to spring out. It took a couple of tried but one end of the spring has an offset of about 1/16 of an inch that fits into a slot on the key support. Align the two and it works well.

The new set should come with a new roll pin to secure the blank into the spring holder.

Did a bit of skip diving earlier today. Pulled 3 brand new 12” gravel boards from a skip down my road outside a house that builders have been renovating for the last 9 months. I will use them to fit along the 3 fence panels by our flower bed which have rotted at the bottom as we banked the soil up too high. I should be able to repair the panels to by trimming 12” off the bottom. Bloody heavy though, I’ll need a hand to slot them into place.

Went out for lunch with friends (1) of 50 years that we hadn’t seen since Christmas. Went to a restaurant about 20 miles from our house and we were telling our friends (1) that the last time we went there over 40 years ago we saw some mutual friends who arrived by chance who also lived 20+ miles away. As we were telling that story, we spotted ANOTHER couple of friends (2) that we knew who were also miles out of their usual manor! The friends we were with (1) knew them, as by chance, we were on holiday on a Caribbean cruise in 2011 with the friends (2) and the friends (1) we were with today turned up on the same ship. Confused? I am and I know what I’m talking about. :ROFLMAO:
