What have you been doing today?

It's been cloudless all day, but it seems to have peaked at 28C. Forecast was 32C. There is a gentle breeze and in the shade it is extremely pleasant. I could get used to this. Global warming isn't all bad @aveatry !!
Yep like others been out on my bike today getting exercise, hardly used any greenhouse gas producing energy - shower on lowest setting, washing dry outside. garden growing my food abundant insects pollinating out getting immune system boosting vit D no need for any nonsense jab boosters, beautiful climate warming.

Sounds like you had a lovely day!

I can' measure that with any accuracy either, its a home made thing from a bicycle computer and one of those spinning air vents you used to get on vans - LOL
I doubt the met office would accept its results, but i believe it is very comparable with it self, (and I don't thing they are that far out)
it has measured 320,000 miles of air passing since July 2011 (440 mile per week)

The wind changed direction and has blown in some nice cool air. Our house is freezing upstairs now!!

This is the best weather. Hot days but a cool breeze at night.

Yep UK weather just depends on which way the wind blows and not how long I leave my lights on.

On my way out today, I saw a car stranded in the road with the drivers front wheel at 90° to the road. Looked like the bottom ball joint had popped out - I wonder what sort of noise it had been making and for how long? On my way back, the recovery driver was attempting to get it on the truck with the use of a big ‘ammer to keep the wheel straight. I took a pic. The woman driver/passenger pointed at me taking the pic and laughing.

Bet she thought FFS that'll be on DIYNOT later...

Heard for miles around apparently. Local Facebook groups are saying it was a sonic boom. All I know is that it was f'cking loud and made me jump and think about taking cover!

considering it is regarding a sonic bang from an airoplane flying over - what a curious caption to the cover picture in your link
Drone images of the Army and Navy junction in Chelmsford, taken Tuesday, March 17 after the flyover was removed
