Went to take a watch out of our digital safe and nothing was happening when I pressed the buttons to put the code in. It’s been in place for about 20 years. It remembered that it had 2 override keys that came with it when I bought it. I turned the bloody house upside down looking for them and after about half an hour, I looked in the other safe we had (key operated this time) and blow me, I’d put one of the keys in there. Opened it the digital safe, swapped watches and tried new batteries in the safe door. For some reason it wouldn’t accept a code so I just locked it using the override key. I was then wondering where I could hide this key within easy access of that safe. I had an idea (I won’t tell you where) but when I went to hide this key there, I found the other spare key already hidden there! I must have hidden it there 20 years ago when I fitted the safe.
