What have you been doing today?

Expensive plush carpets like that often seem to show footprints etc. like in your photo.

I know it's the modern way. It seems strange to me.

Your back will thank you.
Please - NO! Especially If you have not been shown (trained) to use one properly and safely as they can be so b****y dangerous. Using one close to the ground can cause the chain to pick up soil and stone shooting it around.

Buy a reciprocating saw instead; a bit slower to use but far more useful and safer. You soon find lots of jobs to do with it.

Getting my head around this fancy new burglar alarm system I've bought, testing it, and planning how I intend setting it all up. I was a little concerned that the outdoor box, solar powered, might not be 'up to' the UK weather, but it manages to charge with even slightest glimmer of light, and after opening it up, it seems fairly well sealed against weather.

I can only describe walking on my new carpet as walking on the Luna surface, in fact you just glide accross it and you cannot feel your feet, had a bit of a panic attack halfway accross and had to look down to check I still had my feet attached to me, I had a horrible vision they had been blown off.
