I use my airline to clear mine. I just poke the nozzle over the jet, to get a decent seal, and squeeze the trigger.
Yeah.
Apart from the jets being pretty inaccessible on my car, an airline might clear general gunge but it won’t touch a jet blocked solid with limescale, that needs breaking up with a fine pin and then blowing out from behind. I don't like blowing muck back into the washer pipes - it doesn’t just disappear and in the past I’ve had it make its way back up to the jets.
Would it not be easier to use softened water in the first place?
Or just premixed screen wash?
Been using tap water for 45 years, never thought about using deionised before. Might give it a try. Mind you, this car is the only car I’ve had that suffered from limescale in the jets, both front and rear, requiring a clean out every 3 months or so. Never had that problem with the Golf and we’ve had that about 10 years.
Actually, just had an idea. Our window cleaner makes his own purified water - he just washes the windows with a pole system and leaves it to dry. Because it’s purified water, it leaves no streaks or marks. He lives in our street so I might get him to filter me a few gallons of his special brew next time he's filling up his tanks.

Having a mini break up in the Peak District. Me, Mrs Mottie and the pooch. Staying in a cottage on a farm. Had a little test flight with the drone before it got too dark. I need more practice at controlling it. Hopefully I’ll get plenty of practice in while I’m here. Got two dog-safe fields for our sole use. The dog loves it - she's sniffed her way all round the edges of them and worn herself out.
Had a nice welcome pack when we arrived - bread, milk, eggs, cakes and…wine.
Got the log burner going and just made a nice spag bol for tea. Just going to chill tonight with a nice glass or two of Pinot and watch a film.

I think Mrs Mottie paid about £320ish for it. Came as a kit with 3 batteries, drone, controller, charging hub , carry case and a few spare props etc. I got it for my birthday last year when it was on a special offer through Amazon. Gone up in price now. DJI mini 4K.Great film mottie.

I’m always surprised when we come up here how bloody dark it is of a night. So easy to see the stars and passing satellites with no light pollution. Was outside earlier watching them and heard an owl calling. My Merlin app tells me it’s a Tawney owl.
Belper, eh? I spent a month or two there, installing the control systems for a pumping station - Ambergate Pumping Station. It pumped out of the nearby river.
Out filming early before the frosts disappeared. I went over half a mile (although it’s supposed to go 6 miles but I’m building up to that). I wasn’t worried at all! 
Went to Belper today. Paid for four hours parking which was three and a half hours too much. Moved on to Matlock. Both Belper and Matlock seemed overrun with charity shops. I know they are everywhere but there seemed an awful lot of 'em. I know we've only been here a day but the Peak District seems to have changed since we last came here. Half the car park in Matlock was occupied by travellers - some even had that Heras Fencing around their 'pitch' with a portaloo inside. Signs on the parking clearly said no overnight parking or camping but that was clearly not being enforced. Some of the restaurants were charging a fortune for food yet they were empty. Had possibly the worse snack ever in a place called 'The mad hatter' in Matlock. We only went in there because it was dog friendly. Ordered a couple of fish finger sandwiches and two teas. Came to £27.85. I paid up front. When the food came, the sandwiches were made with the cheapest sticky, bleached, thick sliced white toasting bread. The fish fingers were deep fried in batter, the fish was grey and the 'dressing' was a mixture of tartare sauce and mushy peas. The chips were thin and luke warm. CBA to complain. We left three quarters of the food untouched, bought some supplies from M&S food and went back to our cottage to eat. Maybe it’s always been like this or we've just been unlucky this time?
Had another play with my drone - tested it to see what would happen when the battery got low. It did as it was suppose to do and automatically returned to home. I stopped it from landing and made it hover until the battery got to1% and it then landed by itself.

Bakewell pudding and oatcakes is what I remember from the Peak District as a young kid.
