A trip, fully laden, to a local charity shop, this morning, to drop a TV off, along with a range of other items, then on to Tesco, followed by Lidl to load up with more. Then this afternoon, as a replacement battery had arrived for my old Iphone, along with the tools to do it, I thought in for a penny....
So, having watched the 'how to' several times on Youtube, I got stuck in. I'd always assumed the front was glued into the case, but it sort of latches somehow. The job, once inside, was quite tricky, difficult to see, I ended up wearing my magnifying headset. It took me five goes to get it back in it's case, not realising the top edge needed to be fully snapped in first. Once together, it all worked, except it wouldn't at first charge, until I tried another lead.
I had never used the lead, I don't like the usual plug-in jobs, they eventually wear out either the plug, or the socket, so I always used a magnetic snap connection adaptor. Unnecessary now, with my latest phone, using direct magnetic charger, through the case back.
