Nipped a few miles, in the car, to collect the replacement bottle of Gaslight, ordered last week, and £16 cheaper than from anywhere else, + an expedition to Iceland. Whilst there, tried again to put my £400 of surplus cash in my TSB account[1], at a different Post Office, and it was rejected again, so then tried it with the Nat West card and it was accepted. Making up, painting and beginning the fitting of slats, for a 'new' garden bench. We acquired the heavy, ancient cast-iron ends, whilst away on holiday, a couple of weeks ago, with rotted slats. Rain stopped play, mid-afternoon. Then Iceland's delivery truck, turned up with part of the order missing, so that had to be chased up.
[1] Rang TSB once back home, to see if they might be able to check why it was rejected, they suggested I must have got the card's pin wrong. I have used the same pin with the card for years, don't remember changing it, but maybe I did. I so rarely need to use the pin. I asked them to post me out a reminder. Then transferred the £400, from Nat West, to the TSB account, online.
