What have you been doing today?

Mrs Mottie is on a mission this morning and has given me no peace. I’m still not dressed yet but she’s gone through my wardrobe and drawers, thinning out what doesn’t fit me or I’ve not worn for years. They’re bloody bare now! Worse of all, she rediscovered my 'collection' of slippers that I help myself to when we stay in a decent hotel. Well, I’ve paid for them! A mans got to have a hobby or two, ain’t he?

Wait till she finds my collection of soaps, shampoos, shower caps, sewing sets etc in the other bedroom.

She’s decanted all my shoes from the boxes I kept them in too. I found shoes I didn’t know I had!

Said goodbye to at least 30 pairs of socks too - it was getting that I couldn’t shut the drawer. Still got more, mainly my winter collection, in the other bedroom.

OMG I am painting my bedroom bedside cabinets all looking fantastic then disaster. I kicked the paint over and half the can has spilled out onto the carpet, Lena is going to go berserk, OMG. I might rip it up and tell her we should buy a new one without her knowing what I have done. It's only 6 months old but I am going to say the colour doesn't go with the cabinets OMG

Put a plant pot over it

Sold my scooter today. Honda SH300i. Had it from new in 2009. I’m just not using it any more. Young kid came from Hackney for it. Didn’t try to chip me, bought it there and then for the full price. I chucked in a couple of wheel locks, a crash helmet and gloves plus a waterproof jacket as they couldn’t be sold and would have had to have been dumped anyway.

EDIT:

Hmmm. Just been on to the DVLA website to register the change of ownership and can’t seem to find the address he gave me. Oh well, I’ve notified them of the name and address he gave me and that’s about all I can do. Not my job to verify the details given to me by a purchaser. I’ve just run back through my cctv and you can clearly see the cash being counted, handed over and the sale being made plus I have film of the car he arrived in. I have email confirmation of the details I gave to the DVLA and It’s all timed so if I do get a knock on my door any time soon, I can prove that I sold it on the date and time that I did.
