Took the car in for an investigation into a spanner light on the dash, booked a courtesy car, filled in the form and produced licence, then was asked for NI number, luckily Mrs CB had hers written in her diary, never had that before
It’s to get a code for the hire company. A mate of mine booked a fly-drive motor home holiday in Canada. Got there and forgot to bring his licence. Luckily, this scheme had just come out so he found out he could get his licence details and a code online. Would have ruined his holiday if he couldn’t have got it.
