Annoying spiders.



Had to ferret out a large pot from the back of t'shed which involved moving a bundle of branches, sticks, a can of weedkiller and a toolbox - then decided to clean round a bit more while i was at it. Most of the skittery suckers scurried off behind the old desk where clutter abides in confusion. Good lick to 'em. I dare not venture any further.

Off for a little break tomorrow - cruise from Canaries to Balearics so had lots to do.
Sent off details for my mums house sale to estate agent.
Contacted the water board - gave them readings and they have extended the free supply for another 90 days.
Arranged a couple ISA transfers to take place while we are away.
Picked up prescription meds.
Watered my adopted flower bed plot across the road - had to join two long hoses to reach it.
Watered allotment plants and arranged for my sister to look after them while we are away.
Last minute shopping for bits and pieces.
Bought some Euros for when we go ashore.
Packed cases - can’t believe how much stuff mrs Mottie is taking - just in case the weather turns. To snow?
Printed out ship luggage labels.
Printed out parking details.
Loaded flight boarding passes onto both phones.
Shìt, shave and shower later.
Early to bed, gotta be up at 3.00am.
Probably still more to do before we set off for airport tomorrow……

Miss motties marathon reminded me of the reason we went to France...

Number one son ran the Paris marathon for Movember. 4.44.

That was Sunday. We drove home from Lille on Tuesday. That was a bit of a marathon: 10 hours!

He's still feeling the burn today!

Says he will never do another one, but the US extended family are goading him into doing the NY half!
