Been on the phone complaining to an ISA provider that fecked up with my isa transfer. Basically filled in a transfer form with the new provider to go through on maturity, old provider moved it into an instant access account on the day of maturity, new provider asked for the money from the old account but of course, there was nothing in the account as they’d moved it! Offered me an apology and £25 compo and I told them where to put it. Made a formal complaint so now I have to go through the whole transfer process again. Have a suspicion the new provider is going to feck up too. Told me to print out and send in ISA form but gave old isa details in the application and email confirmation said to do nothing and they will arrange transfer online. Phoned up for confirmation and they said no need to fill in form. I just know it’s going to go wrong….
