What have you been doing today?

I fast every night from around 6.30. In the morning I break my fast and eat something. I call it break fast. I should start a thread on it and ask others what they are having when they break fast….
How will you make it unique from the breakfast thread?

Flying into Kolkata then heading north to Gangtok & Darjeeling, then joining a 7 night cruise on the Brahmaputra with side trips stopping in Dubai on the way home
That sounds great. I want to go the east next. Mrs Bods dad was born in Calcutta.
I like the idea of a 7 night cruise

What sort of money would thst be all inclusive?
All cruises are all inclusive (not including drinks unless you go with Marella and you can pay a little more for speciality restaurants when onboard) but it all depends on when you go and what cabin you have. Going with P&O in April for example with an inside cabin would be around £1300 for the two of you. Going in July with a balcony cabin would be roughly double that or anywhere in between. Always cheaper to book through a cruise agent than booking direct with the cruise line.

Thats very reasonable. £1300 would be all food + drinks on top? Itll be cold. I like the cold. Would there be stop overs?

Not really at that age if you consider them mature enough but there always the law of 'Mum and dad are away so….partaaaay'!
Wouldn't be like that...... Funny just moved the van....
Well its not funny. We have a Nigerian family opposite, lovely family and I like the Dad but I do think hes a bit military .
His 16 year old son is out there washing the car at 6³⁰ this morning.

My girls have an easy life.

When the former MP Alan Johnson's mother died he was 13 and his sister was 16, the authorities attempted to put Alan into care but his sister fought tooth and nail against it, putting so much pressure on the local authority that they eventually gave the two children their own council flat on the proviso that they were visited once a week by a social worker to monitor them. He still refers to his sister as the biggest hero in his life.

Day off on call last night. Got a zoom meeting in my home office so hoping I can keep my eyes open.
