What have you bought today?

I've got one of them in my shed. I keep a rag over it to keep the dust off.

My idea, is to shuffle the radios around - The delicate MDF cased one, which is slightly exposed to weather, out on the summerhouse, moves to the workshop, the more robust RD27 takes it's place, and the one presently in the workshop, with none-working digital volume controls, goes in the bin.

A clay pigeon shooting session for myself, my son and my son in law for when we go to Center Parcs in September.
Of course, the ladies kicked off. To shut them up I’ve had to buy them a 'treatment' each in the spa - two at £99 and one at £110. We better notice some difference or I’ll be taking them back! Oh, and £50 to rent a ten pin bowling alley for an hour. CP certainly know how to pick your pocket. Still got to pick a few activities for the grandkids.

I wanted to see the thread of your grandson in hospital update.

Andy
I think the post was deleted by a mod as I’d been a naughty boy. Grandson okay, had a nasty bump on head at school, been having headaches and tiredness for a few days despite initially going to hospital so they said to come back and he had a CT scan of his brain. All okay so just a bit of concussion. (y)

I've been getting pm's okay.

Ok, there is something wrong as I tried to like Mottie's post above but it won't let me but it let me like MNW67 post above.

A years membership for the AA. Both of us covered. Any car or motorcycle. Roadside assistance and national recovery. There’s a 33% discount on AA policies up to the end of this month. Cost me £90.69. Bought through TopCashback so I should get £28 cashback bringing it down to £62.69

Sent middle lad to buy a list of things.

One item was toothpaste, 4 tubes. Came back with one tube of the correct stuff, 3 wrong. Not a huge issue, but the wrong toothpaste was half as much again in cost.

The other item he got that was wrong was a cauli. Now he's young, so doesn't really know what he's looking for, so I blame Sainsbury's for this for it being on the shelf....

How the hell that got left on the shelf, IDK.

£1.19 for that!
