What have you bought today?

How does it drive. I haven't driven a hybrid. Presumably quite different to a normal ICE, especially a diesel.
Apart from being quiet when you pull away on electric, you can’t even tell when the petrol engine kicks in.

Belstaff Stealth Crosby motor cycle jacket, because I am worth it. My big tour starts in Oct, riding through to Italy and touring throughout Italy. Being blessed with great genes I need riding gear that is as stylish as me.

May well be if our circumstances dictate it when we next change cars.
A hybrid is better. I have a full on EV and its a pain to travel any distance, we take the Range Rover when we go any distance so pretty pointless.

Got a new, 32" telly with a picture so sharp it looks like a window in the old fireplace.
It's a Brave New Digital World out there.

let you know if you've gone over the speed limit on any road
This feature is now mandatory on all new cars sold in the EU, I believe.
It's bloody dangerous in my opinion as it cannot be permanently turned off in the settings.
It gets really annoying having to disabled it everytime the engine is started, and quite often you 'need' to do it while driving because you forgot to before setting off, which means fiddling about taking your eyes off the road.
Yes, i know.

A lot of the safety features on new cars can be annoying, it puts me off buying one. The bongs when you're over the speed limit, really annoying. Some of the lane departure stuff can be dangerous. Fortunately they're getting better at letting you switch them off.
