Mrs Mottie bought me a Tag Grande date for my birthday. She bought it on 11/11/11 in Heathrow airport on our way to a Caribbean cruise and when we came out of the shop, people were observing the 2 minutes silence as it was 11.00. It was my dog's favourite watch…..

Annoyingly I had to go to London to collect as my other half wanted the blue one. Drove back to Liverpool, with one 10 minute stop for a charge. Would have made it back without stopping but it was only 65% charged when I collected it…so much for range anxiety.

Comfortable, quick and full of toys. Good car.

My last runaround for a car was a late Monty TDLX estate 92 on a K. Got to Princes Risborough on the train, the guy met me in the car, it was mint, absolutely perfect. Drove sweet as a nut. Got back to his office and before I signed on the dotted, I told the geezer I had to make a call. He looked a bit worried in retrospect.

I went outside, and made a check with the the previous owners, Rank Xerox. The finance was not clear.
I went home on the train.

I fancied dark grey for our first EV, but got overriden for a metallic red....what are wives like, eh?

Lucky, I'm in a spend mood. Ordered a Raspberry pi5 t'other day, for my little ebus project. My old faithful, bought used, iPhone SE MkI battery, which I had replaced with new, a few years ago, is again failing fast, so I decided it was time I upgraded - I've just ordered an new iPhone 13. I don't need anything fancy, just something a bit more up to date, with a larger screen, for my big fingers.

That arrived this morning, and oh - how they have changed....

It offered to take everything from my old SE to the Iphone 13, so I accepted the offer. Something failed at the first attempt, then again at the second attempt, but the third attempt worked, amid a confusing chase around for passwords, when I had no idea what password it actually was asking for, but I somehow muddled through.

What I wasn't expecting was the esim business, never heard of it before - It must have transferred what ever was needed in the sim, in my old phone, across to it's memory, and deleted the sim still in my old phone, or at least my old phone, with sim still in it, now shows 'no service'. New phone is working, making calls, with no physical sim in it.

This super expensive HA food isn’t doing the trick - still having severe bouts of the squirts which has been going on for nearly two months now. Near on £2k's worth of scans and biopsies has shown up nothing definitive. It’s also leaving her hungry and begging for food. It’s like white sugar puffs, mostly air. Apart from that she's fine in herself. Tonight we've started her out on something recommended by our dog breeder friend, as advised to her by her vet. Looking online, others have said it cured the same problems with their dogs. Chappie! We might as well try that. Just been up Sainsbury’s and bought a box of it.
