What is the Trv response time to temperature changes?

Hi,
I always hear that wax trv are slower than liquid ones to response to temperature changes, so the question is:

What is the average response time to temperature changes for
A- liquid trv
B- wax trv

?

you also have the range difference as set to 21 degrees open at say 20 close at 22 or maybe even 19 and 23

Compare these Drayton TRVs:

RT313 (Wax filled)

TRV4 (Liquid filled)

The open/closed temperature difference is affected by the pressure drop across the valve.

Never really bothered about that though like for like in the same location it might make a difference. In my experience it's far more important to only fit them in open areas not shielded by curtains or furniture to get a good airflow across them. Many are a waste of time because of location.
