What kind of hedge is this?

Hi all,
I was just jumping around on Google Maps, and found a hedge I like the look of, can anyone tell what kind of hedge it is?

Can't really see it properly, but looks like conifer.

Carp picture but looks like a yew hedge.

Got one in front garden, very dense, smooth, can be shaped easily, only needs cutting once a year, good for nesting birds.

There are 630 species of conifer - doesn't really narrow it down much for the OP?

I'll stick with yew, which is a conifer.

If you have small children just be aware that the yew berries are poisonous,Blackbirds love them though.

think you will have to narrow it down a bit more, there are 30 different species of yew.

It is a type of cedar anyway.

Lol! I don't think a hedge supplier will expect you to name a species of yew - you get what they provide as suitable species for hedges. If you ask for conifer, they're likely to ask if you want fir, spruce, pine, cedar, larch, cypress etc. etc. which have quite different qualities. Cypress is a possibility, doesn't look quite 'blue' enough to me but like I said the pic isn't good and I can't see enough detail. Maybe your eyes are better than mine, which is a distinct possibility!

Not quite true, Every part of a Yew is poisonous apart from the red fleshy berry that covers the seed.

To be explicit, The seed is poisonous, the only part safe to eat is the red fleshy berry covering the seed.

ps. please feel free to confirm this by making some Jam for the MinLaw before feeding to loved ones.

Anyway, looks like Leylandii (well, some kind of Cypress) to me, the 'leaf' not that it is a leaf as such, looks nothing like a Yew.
