Hello,
I have purchased a light fitting but I can’t figure out what bulb it takes.
The booklet it came with said gu10 but I purchased a gu10 bulb and it didn’t fit.
Any ideas what kind of bulb I need?
Thanks

It looks like a screw in bulb (proper name Edison Screw or ES), where I've drawn the red circle you should be able to detect a thread (it may only be 1 or 2 turns so easy to miss) and that measurement is the size to look for, usually E27 or E14 measured in mm

Show us more of the luminaire (light fitting) and lamp holder inc cable entry etc.,.... Link to maker and model number of it could help (or the retailer if maker unknown).

E27 edison screw (ES) lamp is 27mm diameter. Small ES (SES) E14 is 14mm diameter so a measure might help. Or even something to give scale to it such as a 10p or 2p piece.
