Hi All,

I've a cordless Bosch multi-tool with a Bosch diamond grout removing blade. What speed should I set it to?

Cheers

Sounds sensible. If you need to speed it up at all. Slower may be safer from slipping point of view

I have only used my multitool to remove grout a few times. Low speed was useless- it resulted in a lot of vibration. In each case the tiles were ceramic so I had to watch out for the glazed edges of the tiles. I found that 50-70% speed worked best for me. I tried to stay in the middle of the grout line and then used a hand rake to clean the edges of the tiles.

Be advised that it is a painfully slow process, and very dusty.

If I had to do a larger area, I might consider using an angle grinder but I guess it might be more difficult to control- and it would be much more dusty.
