Hi.
Just moved in to my first solid wall house. Doing a bit of DIY.
want to remove an electric wall heater in downstairs bathroom, but wasn't then sure what to do with the wires that will be left. Is there a safe way to "end" them as we don't want to replace it. Can't find any switch that it is attached to.

So what do I do with the wires once I have removed the wall heater?

Thanks for any help

If the electric heater is connected to the power supply via a fused connection unit (FCU) or (switched FCU) then just disconnect the heater cables from the load side of the FCU and remove the fuse.
Put the FCU back in place - but remember the cables inside will still be live.

You could also remove the FCU and put the live cables into a suitable terminal strip and cover the back box with a blanking plate.

If you want to remove the FCU altogether then you will need to remove the power cable back to its source which could be its own circuit on the Consumer Unit or depending on its power and how it was wired a spur off the ring/radial final circuit.

Can't find any switch that it is attached to.
There must be one, even if it's the main switch in the consumer unit. You really need to find out. If it's only switched at the CU, which seems unlikely, you need to disconnect the cable at the supply end.
