What would be a rough and ready guide price to budget for a 200ft2 kitchen floor screed?

I'm trying to calculate a couple of jobs to work out my approximate refurb budget. So a traditional classic sand and cement screed over about a 200/250 ft2 area or in metric that's about 23 square meters

So is there a general rough estimate for a square yard of screed that I could use to help me put my financial budget together?

Half a tonne of premixed is £65.00 delivered. What area that will do depends on thickness. At 60mm it should do about 7 or 8m²

The floor area is roughly 24m2 so that would work out at about £200 so would you just pour that in one go and then have the "screeder-person" levelling it - meaning a job price in the region of around £500 give or take thereby allowing £300 for a days work or use that as a guide price for an all in one job

£10/m² for the screed and £15-£16 to lay it = £624. Depending on where you are and how busy the screeders are.

Thanks for your help John! The price sounds reasonable

How's the refurb going Jim? Thought we'd lost you there
Thanks for asking jacko555 - So after researching everything and taking the best advice (From the DIYnot community) I managed to get a bit lucky and found a builder who is happy to help me project manage it. Essentially we use his tradesman who he has got established working relationships with. They bill me directly and I pay the builder/project manager separately for his time. We've secured a plumber for everything, plasterer, carpenter and an electrician and they're working at what I think are comparably good rates. The first fix has started within the last 7 days
