Hopefully a picture paints a 1000 words. I need to get a lead that plugs into this. Its where the power lead should plug into teh safety switch on my log cutter, which wasnt supplied with a lead! Its 240 volts. Anyone know the name of it?

im confused now. This needs power going into it, so surely it wont need a trailing socket, or is that the termanology for it?

You do need a socket, the pins are on the appliance, so you need a lead with a socket that the pins go into.

If it was the other way round (socket on the appliance and pins on the end of a lead) the pins would be live and therefore kill people on a regular basis.

it has a trailing socket so that you don't have live pins on the end..

it's a regular single schuko extension lead you want..

be aware that those plugs are 16A ones.... what is the rating of the log splitter and why does it have a schuko plug on it?

got that bit with the pins (although the thought of reguarly shocking some people does intrigue me! ), just the termanology confused me. Any ideas of a good online supplier (not having much luck on google, most seem to be foreign, dont make sense, or are not working!)

Found this on google...
