The four horsemen of the apocalypse are saddling up, we have a light smatterring on roofs of cars yet according to my MSM it is a blizzard of epic proportions not seen since the last one.

The bins won't get emptied.

Snowing merrily now in North Derbyshire and i expect Snake Pass will become treacherous as it settles.
Even the Four Horsemen would struggle through there when it gets higher.

Rain. just rain.... Sw.. seems both north and south of us is snow

Heavy snow here in lovely Staffs......both settled, and still falling.

I have a meeting in Londonium tomorrow. Spake with a colleague this morning who lives down there, and he reported "just rain here".

We shall see how the trains are affected, through today and overnight.

Your Choo Choo has been cancelled and you'll have to do Comms via Zoom.

At least, that's what you tell 'em. ;)

My bad.

£41, to be exact.

Jan meeting was £30.10, return, as was the Dec and Sep ones.

I haven't yet paid more than £48 for the trip, in the four or five years I've been doing it.

Edited and corrected, after checking Trainline app.

Still snowing heavily this morning: Buxton-Leek road closed...and Snake Pass. Obviously.
Fun to note this day last year was 14 degrees. The warmest on record.

Climate Change is a fickle mistress...

Mt eldest stepson and family live in Chesterfield. They have about 4" of the white stuff this morning.
Schools are closed so the grandkids are up and out playing in it already.

We've got wet rain and strong winds in East Anglia. :(
