What's Your Fave Car Glass Cleaner?

I say car glass cleaner, as some are not recommended for windscreens.

I've tried a few supposedly "best buys" and been seriously underwhelmed.

What do you use to clean glass in cars?

I'm wondering whether 70% IPA would work?

I haven’t used it much, but the fil said Method glass cleaner is the best he’s tried, and he cleans his car regular.

Meths on microfiber cloth if you need to. Then
50 /50 white vinegar and water on microfibre cloth.

Apply meths to cloth away from car as its a mild paint stripper and cleaner but it's the traffic film dirt that is black and covers inside a windscreen.

Glass cleaning wire wool is also handing. I buy zero zero zero zero grade. 0000.

I use this, all the company's products are very good.
I also bought the dedicated glass cloth, sounded like a gimmick to me but does work.

Autoglym Fast Glass works well for me.

Muc Off bike cleaner for the screen outside, Mr. Muscle glass cleaner for the inside seems to work just fine.

I have ordered a bottle of Method for 3.50 with delivery tomorrow AM.

Will see how I go. I have tried the Autoglym one in the past, but it was more of a polish.

Got a waffle-weave towel too. Apparently they are good for glass.

And a tip I got off YT: Go horizontally on one side and vertically on the other then you can see which side any marks are on.

Both difficult to beat, but not cheap . Having said that, for how long they last, they work out ok
