Where can I find Hip Rafters?

Hi

I'm trying to price everything up for an extension.

The specs were drawn up in 2008.

I cannot find Hip Rafters 38 x 200 (C16)

I have sent off a number off emails to builder & timber merchants,
they come back with prices but put N/A by the side of Hip Rafters.

The original hip rafters have got to stay put - and the roof will be extended
with new hip rafters.

Any idea why these are not known.

Just for the heads up, last October I was looking for cat lintels that
the Chartered Surveyor had specified, but couldn't find those.

"Woody" said that those specs were out of date by 10 years, low and behold
the next day the bloke came down and his catalogue for lintels was over 10 years old.

So I might be trying to find a size that is not used now.

Don't know.
