In several different brands of trousers I have had over the years I often find thatthere is a little bit of stitching either side of the knee pad pocket about 1/4 the way up.
In the past I have removed this because it got in the way.
Then one day the penny dropped, this stitching goes between the cut slots in the pad and prevents it moving up, simple but works - yet I have never seen any sales info or video mentioning it.
My work supplied trousers are snickers, I have to wear braces to keep them up though as they become very heavy with 2 pairs of pads in the knees, my keys and various stuff in the multitude of pockets on them.
