Where can I provide power to a newly installed whirlpool bat

Will be installing a whirlpool bath system and really need to know if I need to have a separate fuse from the consumer unit or could I take a spur from up-stairs ring main?

While you are thinking about that, also let us know if your consumer unit is a modern type with an RCD protecting the socket circuits.

Hi,

Not sure of the power requirements I have checked the web site but not able to find out. I will try and open the box and see if there is any info. The system is a Villeroy Boch whirlpool.

Also I have a split load CU which the downstairs ring main and the kitchen is on the RCD side.
