Where can I site my new oil tank?

I have built an extension to my house, can I site the new oil tank alongside this extension. There is bathroom window about 10 ft. away to the side.

fortunateley kev, in the interests of human survival, i dont do gas or lpg

mmmmm thinking about it, ive had my "moments" with kerosene maybe i should push a pen.

Thanks for the replies. I downloaded the info and it seems as clear as any technical info can be. It looks as though the site I had in mind is going to be O/K.

may not apply in your case but remember than the boiler flue has to be X distance from the tank.
