Where to get gang nails.

I'm considering laying a floating wooden floor using standard floorboards. Instead of nailing them down I was thinking it may be possible to nail boards together using gang nails/strips on the underside but they seem quite hard to find?

Is there a decent supplier for largeish quantities (200+) or is it just not economically viable and cheaper to buy expensive alternative flooring?

I think you need to reconsider your fixing method.

Sorry I thought it was a type error and meant gun nails, not gang nails.
If my opinion means anything, bloody crazy idea, nothing wrong with the tried and tested methods of fixing boards down via screw or nail from above.

can't screw and nail them into 100mm Celotex.

I think gluing the boards together would be a better option than putting those gang nails under the boards and hitting it with a lump hammer.
